Greetings all!
I have a 21-gallon Rhino dump tank and am in a park where I'll probably have to use it. The nearest dump station is out of the park. Usually it's in the park and I can just walk the tank to the dump so this is new to me.
I have a little blue Chevy with no hitch, The tank has a metal arm that would go over a ball-hitch very well but I'm afraid I'll scratch the heck out of my car hatchback; I could just not use the arm and try to bungy the orange handle to the hitch of my car.
Any other better ideas? It's only about a mile or 2 to the dump station.
Do you have a hatchback or small sedan? Either way, I would tie a rope to the Blue Boy handle, open your hatch or trunk and insert the rope with a loop tied to it. Shut the hatch/trunk where the latching mechanism is. Make sure the rope is just long enough to keep the BB handle upright.
Wow I didn't know there was such a think. Here's a pick of my bumper. As I said, I don't need the hitch for anything but to pull my portable tank. Thanks!
