    Hello Ray,
i have noticed you have been using a propane fire pit. Does it give off enough heat to warm you up on a chilly night? Can you estimate how long a tank of propane would last on high? Thanks Mike

    Here was my review https://www.loveyourrv.com/demo-and-review-of-our-outland-fire-bowl-portable-propane-gas-fire-pit/

It takes the chill off, warmer once the rocks heat up. Not as good if there is a breeze blowing the heat away. Nowhere near as hot as a wood fire. It's a hit with Anne, she loves it for happy hour in the desert as the sun goes down and morning coffee.
20 lb. propane tank has 432,804 BTU, the Outland Fire bowl on high uses 58,000 per hour = 7.46 hours

There's another one we use called Camp Chef Redwood Heat/Cook We bought it back about 10 years ago for about $110.00. I see the price has really gone up!

We have the outland firepit. Bought a 3/8" threaded rod, nuts washers and coupler. Drilled a hole in the top and now use top as a heat deflector, which really helps spread the heat out. Just unscrew from the coupler and stows away for travel. as normal.
