In this video, I review and show you around the Sunlund by the Sea RV park located at the very north end of HWY 101 on BCs Sunshine Coast. Sunlund is just a short stroll from picturesque little Lund marina, the gateway to Desolation Sound. We stayed there for 3 weeks in September 2022 and enjoyed the park and surrounding area.

Overall I give Sunlund a thumbs up for being a super relaxing and chill spot to camp in a great location. However, there are a few negatives for RVers to be aware of, especially if your rig is larger. The road from Powell River to Lund gets a little curvy in spots, and the entrance into the park is a little steep and narrow. Most sites are relatively unlevel since the campground land, for the most part, is on a slope.

Also, I found the power at my campsite was not working well. It had a 30 amp hookup, but if I used more than 15-20 amps, the AC voltage would drop to around 100-105 volts. It made it basically a 15 amp service as far as usefulness goes.

Having said all that, some rusticness is to be expected when you are venturing off the beaten. The location, scenery, and ambiance of the area make up for it in my book.
