We recently had the pleasure of visiting Cathedral Gorge State Park in southeastern Nevada, and it was an unforgettable experience. We were struck by the park's stunning natural beauty as soon as we arrived. The towering spires and canyons carved out by years of erosion were awe-inspiring.

We set up camp in one of the park's overflow dry camping spots versus the main campground with electricity and water. There was plenty of sunshine during our stay for our solar panels to do their job, and a dump station on the way out. It was the perfect home base for our adventures in the park. The cost was $20 a night, reasonable pricing for a state park.

One of the highlights of our visit was hiking through the park trails, which offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We also explored the park's many narrow slot canyons and little caves.

Another highlight of our visit was stargazing at night. The park is far from any major city, meaning the night sky is incredibly clear. It was a truly magical experience to sit outside our RV and marvel at the beauty of the universe.

Overall, our visit to Cathedral Gorge State Park was an unforgettable adventure. We loved the camping areas, and the region's natural beauty was breathtaking. The park is a photographer's dream. I highly recommend this gem of a state park.
