How to repair a broken screw heads
I was going thru all the screws that hold down the trim and the skirting on my Grand design 5th wheel. It is just 3 years old, it is amazing how many screws were loose. Well, about a dozen heads of the screws just popped off, leaving the screw still in the hole. Anyone have any tips how to repair them?
I was thinking about putting new screws in beside the old broken ones, and then calk the holes with the broken screws with silicone. Any better ideas than that?
If the screw still has exposed metal, you can use something like Vampliers
If not, there are screw extraction drill bits
