Our 34" CHB Trawler Gets Lifted from the Water & Travels up to the Storage Yard
Here is footage of our 1976 CHB trawler boat getting first lifted out of the water on a big sling. Then it travels up to the storage yard in another machine.
Enjoyed watching the boating series of videos!
Wrestled Vestri's winter coat mostly in place today, I still have some adjustments to do, but the hard part is done. Also drained the freshwater system, and water heater and added RV/boat antifreeze to the pipes, etc. For the engine, I changed the oil, fully topped up the fuel, and next have to fresh water flush and add antifreeze to the raw seawater cooling system. I'm not used to all this winter prep stuff! as usually we head south with the RV and never need to do it.
A quick overview of the winterization of our CHB trawler boat Vestri and a look inside the winter cover.
