Thought this was an interesting article...
Generator noise...One reason we like to boondock. Even the little helper fan on the fridge bothered me until I replaced it with an ultra quiet one. We go out to get away from man made noise. Thankfully generators have become quieter and more people are using solar to keep their batteries charged. Those construction type open generators the author talks about are maddening to listen to and can be heard from far away. Why people would subject their neighbors to that is .....
One thing that drives me crazier than even a loud genny is one that changes RPM, constantly surging, usually because it's out of tune or maybe bad fuel, clogged exhaust or sparks plug. I've even heard Honda's doing this at times. I can tune out a consistent tone easier than a revving one.
Yes just hate genny only time we fire up ours is to use the microwave need to
Start it haven't ran it for a few months.fixing up front
Battery's so I won't need to use genny.
