The southwest has been getting wetted down more than normal this winter and cooler. But it sure makes for some dramatic skies! Great for photo taking.

Ray, will you be doing a video of the area? Access and such. We may check it out after we leave Organ Pipe Tuesday. How close is nearest town for provisions?

Here is a post I did a few years ago with some info https://www.loveyourrv.com/afternoon-drive-kitt-peak-national-observatory/

Headed into the nearby town Arivaca, there is a general store. Also going to find propane and check out a little RV park other RVers told me about. They said they dumped and filled there. Will let you know what I find. Cheers, Ray

@Greg F In the nearby town of Arivaca there is a general mercantile store, it's well stocked, even has some decent produce. They sell propane too.
I visited the little RV park east of town http://www.universalranchrv.com/ nice guy owns it, you can dump and fill there 10 bucks. May have to call or text him as he always isn't on site. There is a little restaurant on the property and he says his wife makes soul food dinners.
There also is a little bar/restaurant in town, not bad burgers. La Gitana Cantina & Cafe

There is a spot about a mile from "home" that has a view down a valley that the Verde River flows through. It's provided photo op after photo op.
