    I remeber Dad putting them on our Chrysler New Yorker in the early 60's. They were then made our of Aluminum. Bent one when I hit a foul ball at Little League game and you know I'd hit my Moms own car out of all the other cars in the parking lot. As she said better mine than someone else. Oh too I don't know if they were weather tech but they were handy in the summer heat.
