We are staying at Pine Grove till Sept. Mostly to escape the heat but this area is known for the Appalachian Trail North Terminus or Mt. Katahdin. A whole lot of trails and biking in this area and weve enjoying it tremendiously. My feet and ole back are telling on me. Pine Grove is only 30 amp. and no cell coverage to speak of but we can find spots to talk if needed. We covered in Pine needles account the pines are shedding them heavily. The Penobscot river runs here at CG and we just walk over to it and get in and float down to the end of CG and walk back up to other end and do it again. I will post some pics in the future when we had better connectivity. No streaming allowed so they ask. Perfect location to just chill. Have a nice market only 7 miles away. It has all needed and not to pricey considering where we are. And soon the best part, the lobsters will start coming in at $5 lb. Can't wait till that time.
Nice area for summertime, we spent a few weeks back in 2011 right around this time of year camped over in Woodstock, New Brunswick right on the St, John River, not too far from where you're at. Was beautiful.
Look how shiny new that Cougar was, only a few months old. :)
