Today Big Blue Two got its first drive on an ocean beach over on the Washington coast. Not for long though, just can't stomach jamming a bunch of salty sand in the undercarriage. Here is BB1 on Daytona circa Nov 2011. About as far away as you can get! Coast to coast and 8 years full time RVing! :)

We stayed on Padre Island in TX for a few days a couple winters ago. The environment might be a little tough on the equipment but there is nothing like camping on the beach. :)

I don't think they allow camping right on the beach. We are boondocking in a dirt lot near a casino a couple of hundred yards from the beach behind the grassy dunes areas.

Nice, but probably pretty cool this time of the year.

Average temp this time of year in the low 50s. Highs were 59, 54 and 59, lows in the low 40s the last 3 days but the best part was the sun was out and little wind, this time of year it can be rainy, foggy and stormy on the coast, Just never know.
