I camped at one of my favorite BLM sites this weekend. It is near Big Bear CA and this is a great time Of year to camp there. It is about 7000 feet in elevation so it is cold at night but the weather is great during the day, around 65 degrees. Even on a holiday weekend, Veterans Day, it wasn’t too crowded.
