I finally bought myself a Kill-A-Watt meter. For me, it will be an additional tool for my RV product reviews testing arsenal.
If you haven't heard of it before, it's an inexpensive but handy gadget for checking how many watts or amps a particular appliance draws. Extremely useful when trying to figure out how much power is required for your RV's off-grid system before you built it.
You plug it into an AC wall outlet then plug in the device you want to measure. It reads out Amps, Watts, Volts, Hertz, and Kilowatts per Hour.
In the video, I demo it measuring the power consumption of my wife's Sherpa Electric Throw Blanket and our True North electric heater
