    I have a surburban heater.
    Twice now, it has stopped working on 120v.
    Both times I have cleaned wire connectors ends by disconnecting and re connecting the wires at the terminals, several times.
    If you have this problem, look for the four wires with connectors.

    Thanks for the tip. Another notorious failure point is the electrical on/off switch. I had one where the connector terminals must have oxidized leading to poor connections and made the switch overheat melting the plastic switch a bit. Froze the switch.

    My switch froze, too.
    I got the switch loose, but it wouldn't come out.
    Someone showed me how to pull switch out a little.
    Tilt top of switch towards me and lift up and pull all the way out.
    I extend the wires to the switch and remounted the switch inside the rv..
    Much better.

    I did the same mod Jay. Much easier to access. I would suggest anyone removing the switch to kill the power first.
