Ray; a couple of years ago I'd say at least it would slow them down or maybe make the thief move on for easier pickings; but in our area they're now using the battery operated Saws-All's to get generators (cut thru the plastic handles, metal locks take too long) & cuts thru the tank hold downs & bolts in seconds. Maybe your preventions might stop some though (?). Some are also using those long handled bolt cutters. Takes about 5-10 seconds to cut thru a lock or bolt.

It's truly unfortunate this is the reality of the world right now. Theft is just another occupation according to our courts. It will only get worse i"m afraid.
