View from today's walk on the spit here in Campbell River. Not bad of a day temp hit 46F and winds calm, the sun peaked out a few times. Blue Heron chilling out in the foreground
Been doing some beachcombing lately for some exercise and cause it's just fun! Like a treasure hunt. Scored a cool little rock yesterday called a Flower Stone AKA Chrysanthemum Stone. A very pretty addition to our little birdbath fountain scape.
I should have taken the "before photo" . I'm on the roof sweeping off about 12" of snow in this photo. I wasn't that concerned about the domed roof but the slide-out is flat. The truck was covered as well. When we left 2 days later I had to dig out a path to the road. Truck is 4x4 but was concerned about the axles on the trailer.
This waterfall near my home is usually half the width in the summer. This was the
first time I've hiked to it in the winter. Wow! Didn't know what I was missing!
These dudes decided to all land and stand in a row the other day. Anne tried to get closer for a photo but they of course all took off. So jumpy these Blue Herons are. I grabbed this one from inside the RV with my camcorder.
