Lot's of great tips. Having the ladder outside the window is an interesting idea. Have you ever worried someone might take it? These things aren't cheap.

Now that we have some space to store things I was thinking about replacing our straight telescoping ladder with an A frame style like you have. Maybe I will stow the old telescoping straight ladder under the bed which could be dropped out the window for egress if needed. I was considering just one of those cheap egress ladders that hang on the wall but this would give me an excuse to upgrade our ladder to one that doesn't need to rest against the RV. :chin:

When in the RV park for the summer I chain it to the landing jack. Use a big heavy link chain so it will make lots of noise. :) I love the ladder, super stable to climb on.
