Here is a way to hang a cordless tool charger. Some chargers may already have provisions for wall mount but our Makita 18v charger did not.
Since we have 3 batteries and a few different tools including a vacuum we use inside the trailer on a daily basis I wanted a place to stick the charger without it just sitting out on a counter or having to go into a storage tub or drawer to get it each time we needed it. We have 3 battery packs so one will always be on the charger and ready to swap for a spent one.
I saw a video a while back where someone did this hack. Can't remember where but I thought it was pretty clever.
The rubber feet on the bottom of the charger get a small hole drilled in each. Running a screw into them acts as an expansion anchor holding the charger securely to a plate that can then be mounted to a wall. A little critical layout is required to get the plate holes in the right location.
I had some diamond plate aluminum in my scrap pile and cut and painted a piece to fit. I mounted it in the storage bay along a wall with other electrical items just under an outlet.
