In this video, Anne and I pile into the Ram 3500 and head out on a day trip to explore and do some photography in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island, BC.
We've camped and visited this jewel of a park before but never in the middle of winter. With a recent snowfall on the mountains and high water levels in the lake, we felt it would be pretty special. We picked a sunny, relatively warm day and were not disappointed.
In the video, I show you some dashcam footage of the drive and video shots from our various stops, including a little forest hike to Lupin Falls. The video finishes off with my still shots from the day. In these trying times, it's so relaxing to get out and enjoy the sights and sounds of pure nature. I hope you enjoy the video. Cheers, Ray
Good video, wonderful scenery! We would love to see your island some day.
Hopefully the virus will subside and the border will let us visit in person someday soon.
Happy Trails!!!
