In this video, I install the latest generation of Titan RV fridge vent fans. I have been using earlier versions, and they have performed well. I show how I mechanically attach the new fans plus the 12V electrical hookup. Also included are demos of the fans in action.
Pricing is a little on the high side, but I can't fault the quality and quietness of the fans. The fans also include controller modules with manual and auto modes. Some even have a timer function.
I remember your original install video, Ray...and much appreciate this update with the new, larger fans as this project had slipped off the list. A question for you: Do you think adding only a lower pair of 14 cm fans - essentially, adding a little pressure differential to the vent stack from the bottom - would make a worthwhile improvement? Installing the top fan pair would entail a good deal of effort for my rig, while starting with the bottom pair would be easy-peasy and so a good place to start. (I'm also reminded of your recent external screen video. I definitely need to rig up a shade screen for the frig grill, given we're located in the SW USA. Thanks for that one, too).
Thanks, Ray. In looking at the specs, I notice the 14 cm model pushes almost 50% more CFM than the 12 cm model - quite a significant improvement for only about 15% more cost. Thanks again!
