Resealing the Rear Corner Bead or the Trailer
Next summer RV maintenance project on the list. Remove, clean, check for water damage and reseal the flashing and corner bead on the rear end of the trailer. Going well should have a video out in a couple of days.

Great Video Ray,
This answers many of my questions about how I'm going to tackle the corner beads on my TT
Great job Ray! I've always wondered what's behind the outer shell. I'm going examine my rear wall. Bet I have similar issue. Thanks!
I have a 2002 Carriage Cameo LXI that I have tried various caulks to seal cracks - most have a silicone component and they always attract a lot of dirt and seem to stay sticky. Does this Alpha caulk product dry to touch and not get dirty? I also am having an issue with several of my windows with the rubber seal on the outside of window shrinking and developing gaps at the ends and near the window. The individual panes in the windows are dropping in the frame (appears to be a glass mount double sided tape that is failing) so the rubber seal is unable to bridge the gap at the top of frame. Have you had any similar issues or have any suggestions?
I haven't had it on long enough to know but every other similar product I've tried like Proflex, Sika Flex ends up dirty. I think it's a natural problem if it is going to stay flexible and do the job without getting dry and cracking. Likely the best stuff I've found for staying clean is the clear silicone the OEM used. It did pretty well for years. But man that is a
to remove. I'll live with a bit of dirt. The best bet is to use as little of the sealant as it takes to fill the void.
Some of my thick outside rubber seals have shrunk back over time but haven't caused a leak, also some of the dual pane seals are blown and we get fog in a few windows from time to time but not enough yet to make us want to get them repaired or replaced.
