Cuteness overload on the river behind our campsite this morning, a doe with a couple of fawns made an appearance.

Another wildlife clip from behind our campsite on the spit in Campbell River, BC. This time a Great Blue Heron does a little fishing in a pond that has formed on the tidal estuary.

Great pix! There was a dozen or so out there yesterday grabbing some scraps. I got a bit of video will post. Anne was snapping off shots with the 400mm lens, not sure what she got yet, she is always way behind. Bet she got a few decent ones of them.

New bird made an appearance today. Northern Flicker, I think. Hard to get a pic they are fast.

Heard a commotion on the beach across from the Thunderbird RV Park the other day. Watched tons of Bald Eagles vying for fish scraps. Always a treat to see them! Here are a few choice pieces of footage.
