I see from the internet that a few people have ran into this issue and I wanted to share the fix I found. After searching the internet and making a few phone calls, it appears the only way you can acquire this part is to buy the entire awning arm assembly! 33mi2z2ictfidxtm.jpg 01mv1nzzr7yx6697.jpg
Quick trip down to Home Depot, and as luck would have it they had the exact size square stock in stock.

Cut to length, drilled needed holes on each end, spray paint flat black, install, done for about $10.00 and 30 minutes of time.

I have enough materiel left over, I am going to make another for a spare.

Wow, that link wore out fast. I'll be sure to check ours. Thanks for the tip.

I believe part of the wear issue is that awning support strut is weak, causing more stress and movement at that pivot area. Will be replacing those in the next day or two.

Thanks. We have same system so will be checking the wear on ours.

Just curious the symptoms of this bar wearing out. On one side, my arm no longer stays straight. Could this be the issue?

I noticed the two separate pieces not lining up correctly at the pivot point. Couple things if your pivot arm won't stay strait. You can adjust the bolt at the pivot joint, tighten it a little, see if that helps. The other is the awning arm strut is getting weak. I just changed mine. I will be posting a video in the next couple days to show all that I have done on my YouTube channel. Hope this helps.

Thanks Sean. I did try tightening the nut, but it wouldn't budge...

I can't tighten my pivots either. It won't budge with considerable force. I'd like a bit more resistance against the struts because they push up and straighten the pivot rather than staying where I want them. I'm afraid to shear the bolt. My struts are good and I don't see any abnormal wear. But I'll be watching from now on.

If you have the same as I have pictured, be sure you are turning the nut end, not the allen side.

    It won't tighten any more.

I think I'll bungee that pivot to the lower skirt to hold it down.

May have to replace the pinch washers to give you some more thread on the bolt.
