So how is everyone dealing with their litter box?
We travel with 2 cats who do not leave the RV. We keep their full-size box in the shower, which they are very happy with & it's out of the way & easy for us to clean out often. We used to take a "litter genie" with us, but have since figured out that it's a waste of space & just ends up smelly. We now use biodegradable doggy poo bags & throw each "clean out" in the trash outside. Much better!
We travel with 2-4 cats depending on the trip. We have kept the box in the shower and we have kept it in the living area. I just keep it very clean! They seem to like being with us. But they don’t like the ride there
We travel with two cat also. We have a motorhome they are with us all the time. Was able to cut hole in stairway to a storage bin for litter box. Works well added door to close when we clean box to keep cats inside. Installed a motion switch for light to come on when they enter.
Thank you for sharing the pictures of such a clever solution. We have a cat and that has given us ideas! Curious what kind of motorhome you have? Thanks.
We have a 2006 National Sea Breeze 8311. We have had it for little over a year have dine many updates to it so far. Had a 2011 cougar 5th wheel before.
Same here. Our two hate the traveling. They hide under our bed pillows when underway. But once we set up, they're quite happy wandering around the RV & display relaxed, at-home behaviours. The window Class C's overhead cab area, which is their cozy domain, is their favourite nighttime TV show.
Wow! That's amazing. Wish we had room in our cream puff 1997 29' Class C Spirit. We love it, but a downside of this model is the very limited basement space.
