    Hi All,

I am looking to add a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with 4 Transmitters for my 2015 Cougar Travel Trailer. My truck already has a system. Can anyone recommend a system?

I saw @Ray reviews of the EEZTire System and that looks like a good product. I like the display, easy to read even in direct sunlight. Not sure if I need a repeater.

I purchased TPMS from Belcorp two years ago. Good price, easy programing, and did not need a repeater. Make sure your valve stems are not rubber ones. I've read no matter what brand you get, rubber stems will cause problems down the road.
Also, do yourself a favor a replace your batteries every year. Easy replacement costing 4 dollars each. Avoids having one not transmitting properly while driving down the road.

I’ve been using the https://tsttruck.com/ since 2012 and upgraded to their colour monitor last year. At the start it worked most of the time without a repeater but because my custom medium duty truck and 5th wheel measure out at 66’ it would occasionally drop out so I added the repeater.

I was concerned about Belcorp's large transmitters. But I understand now about using metal stems. Thanks for your response.

Thanks your response. I do like the color display. How is the Display viewing in bright light?

I have used the EEZ system since 2014. Have the monitors on the truck (2005) and the 5th wheel plus truck and RV spare. With the beep beep sound I don’t miss a color monitor. I don’t have an extender and the only maintenance has been the replacement of two monitor batteries.

I also use the EEZTire system with the 6 senors for my Class A RV and it works great! You might get a deal on eBay if you shop around.

We’ve had the TST507system for about 5 years. Just upgraded to the new color monitor. Bought the system direct from them and have been given great service more than once. The best was after the warranty was expired and having a problem with a sensor they replaced it at no cost to me.

Goodson, I don't know how much panel 'real estate' you have up front, and so how helpful it would be to use one of the systems with a well-developed app that can display everything on your cell phone. I know that would be my preference. If you haven't already viewed it, I'd suggest you watch Jared Gillis' new All About RVs video on the product choice he made (a Tire Minder system).

Good luck on your decision and install.

It’s fine in bright light however not the best with sunglasses.

I’ve had the same experience with a free after warranty replacement on a sensor.

More more thing on my TST system, when I first started using it the only monitor was their monochrome. I updated to their color monitor a few moths ago which is so much nicer. Always needed to move sunglasses up to read the monochrom, but have yet to do that with the color monitor.

I'm in Canada, and most quality TPMS system here are in the $300 to $400 range. That is a lot money, and I am simply not ready to pay that much to monitor my tire pressure.

Been RVing for 10+ years and I check my tire pressure often, touch wood, and never any pressure related problems.

Maybe one day, they will be standard equipment.

I added the TST507 this spring and very happy. TST helped with the setup over the phone which was simple with them walking me thru it. MI to FL and back and no issues with the system. It came with the repeater and I have a 38ft 5er and didn't need it. Hope that helps.
