Several months ago I decided to get a Berkey rather than buying drinking water. Overall I have been happy with it. The downsides were the counter-space it was using, having to hold whatever I might be filling and what to do with it when on the road.
Here's the solution I came up with.

    Nice upgrade!
We have the Alexapure pro, love it and wish we had it a long time ago.
    Happy Trails!!!

I have the same Berkey and am wondering whether you leave it filled while on the road? Does it spill?

I wouldn't travel with any water in the top portion. If the lower reservoir isn't more than about half-full you may be okay IF it is very securely held in place -- I would hate to have one tip over while underway.

We had a 3-gallon Berkey for many years and gave it away when we went full time. Now with more room in the 5th wheel kitchen, we may get a small one.

I take it apart when I travel. Any leftover water in the bottom half goes into bottles. I am a solo traveller and the travel Berkey is perfect.
