Loved the overview of your Ivation dehumidifier, Ray. Anxious for your follow-up review. I'm thinking of getting one for our travel trailer, currently in storage. I'm just south of you near Seattle. I have an oil-type heater in the trailer set at 55ºF with a WiFi temperature/humidity sensor that I can monitor remotely. The trailer has been in storage for a couple of weeks now and the humidity is between 50-55%. I'm not sure what the ideal humidity level should be for over-winter storage. I'm also not sure how much water would be extracted in our 30' trailer since I don't have a convenient way to let a dehumidifier drain continuously. Thanks for your great work!

Now that it's getting colder I've been running it 24/7 on the low fan speed plus some low wattage electric heaters and it's kept the humidity around the 35 - 45% range, so nice and dry in here, even with the roof vents mostly closed. Not getting any condensation on the walls or windows so quite happy.
You are different though as you aren't living in the rig. We are constantly putting moisture into the RV with our breathing, showers, cooking, etc. Unless you have a water leak there shouldn't be much moisture inside to worry about.
I don't think you should have a problem, just leave a roof vent or two open a little so you can get some air exchange. Also, a good idea to open up all the cupboards and pull the mattress away from the wall.
For us the humidifier pumps out a ton of water, the 19-pint tray was filling twice a day before I put the drain hose outside. But I imagine a trailer in storage will generate much less.

After seeing you video Ray on the Ivation, we got the model 1 size down for our 28 ft 5th wheel. This thing has been a game changer! Love it. It is a 14 point and we are running it pretty much all day. Have emptied it twice a day. It is keeping humidity at between 40 and 45. Not a drop of condensation anywhere. We sure notice how much warmer and more comfortable it is in here. We also run a small electric heater during the day and have furnace set at 62 degrees over night. Thanks for the recommendation of this product. Suoer pleased with it. Also hoping it is just for this 1 winter!

I went to the ECOR website and checked out the stats. The machine looks well built but I noticed that the gizmo gets rid of your high humidity by venting humid waste air outside of your rig. That venting process results in a 15% air loss and a slightly negative air pressure inside your rig. Outside air will then be sucked into your rig to equalize the vacuum created by the venting process. If it’s cold outside, you’ll be sucking cold air into your rig which means you’ll have to heat that cold air.

To me, that sounds inefficient.

In my mind it’s better to have a dehumidifier that simply processes the existing air that is already in your rig. The difference is that the ECOR is automatic and a traditional closed loop dehumidifier requires the owner to manually dump the collected water on occasion.

The one I have is a desiccant type dehumidifier so it's not great in warm moist places like say FLA but here in a cold damp location it's great as it works by heating the air, so we get the side benefit of the heat. The model I got comes with a drain hose hookup, that I have threaded through a small opening on the corner of the slide-out and it drips on the ground, so no need to dump the tray.
