More wild southwest weather made for some dramatic scenes last evening. Camped along Lake Caballo in New Mexico. $8 a night dry camping right on the lake. Nice views.

Hit a high wind gust speed of 79.5 KPH (about 50 MPH) today here at Lake Caballo. Beautiful to look at but not great for being outside in, looking forward to the calmer weather to come in the next few days. ;)

Just beautiful. I need a good amount of electric for my work but am making note of all these great boondocking sites for future reference. :)

From huge winds to dead calm in 24 hours. Sunny, coolish but mellow winds today on Lake Caballo, New Mexico. Here is our sunset happy hour view. Love the trees on the other shoreline, spring is on the way!
    Cheers! Ray
