I'm so jealous. We were hoping the border would have opened a little earlier so we could get down there for the fall camping and colors. Gorgeous pix!

Thanks! We had a lot of monsoons this summer in Utah so the Fall colors have been spectacular. I think the border is opening soon so come on down

Wish I had a telephoto lens for this view from the BC ferry the other day of Mount Baker in Washington State. The best I could do zoomed in with my cell phone. Was a pretty scene.

Break between storms on the Washington State coast. Found this pretty little autumn pond scene just in from the beach at Ocean Shores.

Cloudy sunset on the Salton Sea in California. The shimmery waters always produce beautiful reflections.

Dang! the Pacific Northwest weather has caught up with us. But I imagine the southern California people are happy to see it. Palm Springs news said they have had 57 days with no rain.
Makes for some nice photos too.

Still enjoying the wide-open spaces and sunshine camped on the Salton Sea. A cold front a couple of days ago added a little frosting to the mountains above Palm Springs.

Love the contrast of nature down here. It's the desert but, snowy mountain as a backdrop and seagulls and pelicans flying around the sea.

Yesterday we took a little side trip to visit a nature preserve near the Salton Sea. At first glance, the hills look totally barren but hidden is a little oasis of palm trees. Cool to see in their natural state. Video to come.

Diffidently a cedar waxwing. Bandits (flocks up to 80) that pillage berries on bushes such as holly. We see them once a year when they come to raid our bushes.

Desert tortoise Saddle Vista Ranch, Tonopah Arizona. While we were at Saddle Mountain BLM we dump and fill our tanks here and they have a cool pair of tortoises to check out and many farm animals. :)
