Not too far from here is an interesting attraction a replica of Stonehenge!
Visited Stonehenge today. Didn't have to fly to Great Britain, they have one here right close by in Washington State. Who would have thunk it? Eh!

Quite breezy on the Columbia River today so mostly stayed inside and worked on a new trip video - https://youtu.be/qbJcfgx3ZLQ But good solar power day, great scenery out the back window, and fun to watch the windsurfers that showed up to shred the river white caps.

There are a couple of spots along the Columbia River like this. The down side is the freeway & train. Daytime isn't bad, but both run most of the night. If you're not in a hurry and don't mind paying a few $$ both north & south a few miles have some nice Fed & State campgrounds that are quiet. We drop our trailer and come down and watch. Did you see the 'surfer's ' going up river against the current? Bald eagles visit as well.

Haven't seen any surfers just tons of fishing boats, birds, and barges. :) Luckily we aren't bothered at all by trains or highway noise at night. Sleep great. Guess over the years of living in the RV we have become used to it. They seem to often be near many camping areas. I can have a great night's sleep in the middle of a full truck stop. :) Love the drone.
We are going to spend a night at the Columbia Gorge Museum and then 3 nights at Memaloose State Park so we can day trip around a bit, then it will be time to head north so we can cross back May 2nd.

As you stated 'your use to it...' we go a few miles N. and then come down. Really nice scenic drive North of you that Anne would like for photos... (clouds; not steam or smoke)

We drove along Highway 14 on the WA side from Mary Hill to The Dalles bridge the other day that was nice views, especially in and around Columbia Hills Historical State Park.
