Tire Confusion

    I have 2012 Outdoors rv travel trailer 26f the original brochure for the trailer calls for 205/75r15 but the sticker on the side of the trailer calls for 225/75r15. When I recently bought it the 205/75r15 were installed any ideas which I should go by?

    I'd give a call to Outdoors RV support. I'm thinking you can install as tall as the 225's for that application.

    Yeah, I’m sure I can just confused as to why brochure gives one size and sticker gives another size. May be mine has optional extras installed which require the larger tires.

    My advice is to use the sticker that is actually on the trailer as your guide, and not what us shown in the generic brochure.

    @ray Yep. And if the trailer is ever in an accident this could be a factor in determining liability.

    Thanks Guys that’s what I was leaning towards, lesson learned check tires before leaving RV sales lot.
