Hi all!! I have a Cougar 5th wheel very much like Rays. I had to remove my furnace due what I believe is a faulty sail switch. Before reinstalling, I was vacuuming out the cabinet the furnace sits in and noticed that there is an insulation strip outlining the hole in the floor going to the ducts. The insulation is in pretty bad shape and I'd like to replace it. I've googled around for a replacement, but am not sure what they call that piece. Does anyone know? Also was wondering if I could just use some fiberglass insulation I've got left over from my garage and fabricate a seal? Wasn't sure if that would be safe since I assume it could get hot. Searching, I read that fiberglass insulation is mostly fireproof though. Thought I had better ask around though!

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi all,

After a bunch more googling, I found what it is and wanted to share.

It's a bottom duct furnace gasket. I found it online here:

    Thanks!
