  • Haloview monitor
Thanks Ray, your advice and aid are appreciated.
  • Haloview monitor
Hi Ray, It acted up in the truck also. In the truck the monitor would shut off
and come back on it's own. In the RV it is connected to it's own AC to DC adapter.
When it shuts off the light goes from green to red and it does not come back on.
Don't know how to check if camera shuts off, but when the monitor does all I
have to do is push the power button and it comes right back on. Sent a message to
support a week ago, haven't head back yet. Thanks
  • Haloview Ultimate RD7R Deluxe RV Wireless Camera Kit
Thanks Ray, going to look into doing it that way.
  • Haloview Ultimate RD7R Deluxe RV Wireless Camera Kit
Hi Ray, instead of drilling holes in the back of the RV and running wires across the roof, I'm thinking about putting the license plate camera on and running the antenna wire along the frame. Do you think i can still get a decent view of whats behind me? My rear marker lights are indented so I can't use that camera.
  • Dometic refrigerator not cold enough
Good news, tested thermistor in ice water and it had 9600 ohms. Since it was working I ordered the part you suggested. Put in the rheostat and lowered it a little each night. Took a few days but now it is down to 0 degrees in freezer and 35 degrees in refrigerator. Thanks again for the advice.
  • Dometic refrigerator not cold enough
Thanks Ray for the quick reply. Sounds like good advice. Will test thermistor, then look into rheostat.
  • Boondocking Power Upgrade - 2 More Solar Panels + Wiring Update & Mods
Nice setup Ray. Just curious how those buss bars are attached to that wall.
  • Replacing black and gray tank valves
What year is your rv? The openings in my 2014 Montana face the back of the camper. I put a ratchet strap on the tube and pulled it back a bit. It worked well. I did take Rays advice and lower the front of the rv.
  • Solar question
Just wondering. If the batteries are charged to 14.4 volts could that much voltage harm any 12v circuits in the rv? Maybe the thermostat or the refrigerator?
  • Solar question
Thanks Ray I’m going to leave it connected than. I have the same controller and monitor you have so all is well.
