You have the Cooper tires on your Dodge. My local guy sells that brand my son had them on his Blazer nice tires. I ride the Toyo AT on my F350. I have been pretty happy with them. My truck doesn't get off Vancouver Island that much. The farthest I go is Quadra Island with the trailer.

very nice looking pup. Is that a Ti in your profile pic ? I have an 02 28E33 I absolutely searched for a Ti in my budget which was not easy. I just love the quality of these 5th wheels. Well happy camping with your new pup I have a couple and they really like going for walks and curling up at night very relaxed.
  • OEM Bathroom Fan Upgrade

After seeing this video I went ahead and replaced my OEM bathroom fan which was toast with this unit. No instructions arrived with the unit so I'm glad I watched the video. Even then it took a little bit of effort to get those gears to line up.

Thanks for the video and the product

  • Shark Bite Fittings for RV Plumbing Repairs?
Depends on the amount of space you have available. Sharkbite are convenient and easy to work with if access is an issue. They are an expensive alternative maybe cheaper now I used them a few years ago on a job and was very impressed with the results. Regular pex fitting and crimps work great and cost a lot less as long as you can get the crimp pliers and give it the squeeze to secure them together into the area you are working in.
  • Battery Upgrade

Did you check for a shorted cell one bad cell would cause reduced capacity and would continue to draw power from others in the bank. If there a large Specific Gravity (S.G) difference in one of the cells this also means the battery is having issues. Sometimes a gassing type of charge can bring the S.G levels back in line. I have also seen adding a concentrated acid in a low reading cell improve the cell. I worked on banks of 880Ah batteries in a diesel electric environment for years. How did you connect the outputs series / parallel. I have 4 6V in my unit I connect 2 cells in series as a bank and paralell the banks now I connect the negative from one bank and positive from the other bank to the charger.

Sure in a general sense the Canadian people own it. That being said it is not like you can get a loan against it. You can't call it an asset. Like most government property it has organizations that manage it. The public is not allowed to set up on government property without permission. I was only trying to point out that certain government property sites like military bases have some recreational sites i.e. pools, gymnasiums, golf courses, and sometimes RV Campgrounds or even Cadet Camps barracks.

This is the problem where do full time RV people go if parks turn you away. I get the quarantine part but if your home is a RV you need a place to park it. Local MP, MLA, and municipal representatives should be addressing this. I know the Federal Government on the Island used to have at least three military run campgrounds One near Victoria and Nanoose I think Comox is still there. They also own a substantial amount of property that is isolated. It would be easy enough to accommodate some travellers in these areas. Much like when bringing in the travellers by air they went to Trenton and were housed in a quarantine facility.

Looks nice, I dream of the day when I can actually get out and do some travels. I have a trip planned for the summer going up into the interior of BC but mostly we stick to Vancouver Island.
  • Pedder Bay RV Resort, Vancouver Island
That's right near where I live. 900 bucks is steep. I was in Vancouver staying at Burnaby Cariboo RV park and it was just over 800. With all the Malahat construction I might look at staying closer to home. There are lots of choices from Sooke to Port Renfrew.
