In this video, I update you on what we have been up to the last couple of months and plans for the last part of this snowbird trip.

Free camped outside Valley of Fire State Park at the far end of Lake Mead on some Bureau of Reclamation land. There were big winds yesterday and some rain this morning, but it is clearing up on the backside of the front. Just love the sweeping views here. This time we snagged a spot with a nice view of the Valley of Fire.

We had a thunderstorm roll through last evening and lots of rain, but it made for some stunning views this morning. The clear morning air and wetted-down sandstone really make Valley of Fire pop!

We have made tracks westward the last two days from far eastern Nevada, with an overnight in a casino parking lot in Primm. Then, today, we made it to Mojave, CA, for some driveway camping at a friend's home. It was a fairly breezy day but mostly a direct headwind, so it was not too bad. The big blue Ram 6.7L Cummins handles it with ease. :) We will hunker down for the Easter weekend as a big storm front is heading through the next few days. Here I am, shoehorning our Cougar fiver into the driveway.
