The weather looked a bit soggy, cloudy, and windy for several days, so we decided to head back on the grid for a bit. I need to do laundry, clean the rig, flush out the waste tanks, and clean sticky weeping tank valves.
So booked a week at an inexpensive RV Park called Hickiwan Trails near Why, AZ not too far from Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.
The park isn't a resort by any means but $150 for a week including taxes is good these days for full hookups. hickiwantrails.wordpress

Quite the big beautiful looking sky late today after a breezy, coolish day in Why, Arizona. Got all our laundry done though, 5 loads! and cleaned and lubed the galley waste valve, still have the black and shower tanks to go.

  • You have done this before, is this an annual thing.

Going to this RV Park or cleaning the waste valves?

Big Sky in Why, AZ. Another cold front passed through, leading to some more picturesque skies. Looks like it is finally going to warm back up. Just in time, our RV park stay is almost over. Laundry is done, waste tanks are clean, and it is time to head out boondocking again soon! :)
